Does anyone use LogMeIn Free?

If so have you had the email saying that it is being terminated immediately?

Or, is this just me?

Are there any other options out there?

Team Viewer is good and free

although, it depends on what operating system is in use. for windows, a good solution is probably RDP, combined with say a raspberry pi (this is what i use). put simply, using some ssh arguments (this can work with putty, an ssh client for windows), you can create an encrypted tunnel that nobody else can see, and use this to carry all of the traffic. secure and free (mostly)

mine for example, using cygwin (overblown perhaps, but i use it) a command like "ssh -L *:1200:192.168.1.150:3389 [email protected] -p 22", then point the remote desktop app at 127.0.0.1:1200.

this can work for anything that needs passing through an ssh tunnel.

possibly a little complicated though.

otherwise stick to teamviewer  :B-
