Got this e-mail the other day........

.................................................................................

Please sign it, it takes 2 minutes, then pass it on to your whole address

book!!!

When VAT was temporarily reduced to 15%, the Chancellor added 2% duty to

fuel to offset the reduction in tax collected from motorists. Now that VAT

has been increased to 17.5% again this hidden tax has not been removed -

hence recent rises in your fuel costs. Sign the petition at the link below

to have this stealth tax removed!

Please pass this on to your friends - the more the merrier. Happy motoring!

No chance of them dropping it. The country's broke.
Yep, read through some of the other petitions and responses. It's just there to make you think you have a chance, complete waste of time, they'll do what they want, and even if they drop the 2% it'll be added to something else, or there'll be some other 2% increase on fuel which is coincidentally nothing to do with the 2% that was removed.

Backdoor Brown and his band of merry robbing baaasterds.

Dont forget road tax duty too, going up in April 2010 for almost everyone.

I signed the one asking for them to make Clarkson PM (although I should have had my security clearance revoked for that) and all we got was a stupid video in responce. They didnt take it seriously so then there was a petition to take the petition seriously.

Waste of time just like the current govt.
