Graphik Eye and Systemline......any experts out there please

Client has bought a new house

systemline audio in each room

Lutron Graphik Eye linked to Systemline in Master bedroom and lounge only ( 2 Graphik Eye controllers )

need to add a second switch in lounge.

lounge is huge BUT only has touchscreen at one door, come in at other door and you are in the dark

total,system was put in at new build some 9 years ago

so,if there are any experts out there then it's brain picking time

not really had much to do with lutron stuff... you should be able to add another switch though, there often wired in parallel.

I've looked online and it appears to be obsolete, but there is some stuff on eBay 

there is a spare C5e cable at the other door that has 12 V dc on it

systemline touch screen terminals are obsolete ....I was wondering if I could

A.  Find a lutron key pad ( client isn't bothered about them matching)

B. Find where this C5e cable goes to

C. Divert it to Graphik Eye box

D  stick lutron keypad on 'spare' cable

..."..pray

it appears that this system was never designed to be operated by a conventional mechanical switch
