Green sleeving

Hello everyone this is my first post on here.

Just wondered if any seasoned spark could tell me around what year was green sleeving phased out and replaced with green/yellow?

just checked my 14th edition (1970) and it said then in table B4

protective conductor - green or green and yellow....

i had 1971 in my head for the birth of green and yellow:O but anyhow both ran side by side till green was banned in 1976 with the final amendment of the 14th...

and... a big welcome to our new member

So is it a poll for who has got the most red sleeving?

I have thrown away loads of the stuff, not to mention full drums of black and red cable.

As to the op when I do any pir and find green sleeving I always date the installation to mid 1970's (1975).

I started in 1976/1977 and remember using it, but was replaced almost at the same time.
