I thought there was a major safety issue with the federal electric stablock mcb's ?

I have some if they are ok though :)

I saw that they had to be recalled because of the potential explosive actions on three phase boards but I may have been mistaken as the ones I have are manufactured in Britain and the article I read was from America.

yes i personaly have read as much as i can on this subject and have found that all reports of this come from the states. under federal pacific.

i have found no counts of problems in the uk.

most of the reports are of neutrals burning out(loose connection that the final electrician should have checked imo)

and double pole mcbs where they do not disconnect both phases in fault condition.

from what i understand these are used in domestic property compared to ours that seem to be mainly industrial.

if anyone knows of any articles or experiances that say otherwise i will remove them from stock without question.

regards
