Hi there forum Members,

My real name is Hedley Berge and I am an Registered Electrical Inspector from New Zealand.

Down here we work under the Electricity Safety Regulations 2010 and a joint Austrailian / New Zealand Electrical Standard AS/NZS 3000:2007 for General wiring work with the usual slew of other standards thrown in for good measure.

I generaly work in commercial / industrial but still have the odd domestic / farm job thrown in for variety.

I have worked as far afeild from NZ as England (Wales) and the US. I have also spent 6 months in Fiji project managing electrical reticulation on a Resort Island project. I have also spent the last 9 years working part seasons in Antarctica (Scott Base) inccluding two winter over seasons.

Cheers

Hedley

I do realise that Wales is not England!

I must say that they were very unlucky not to win there match against South Africa last night in the Rugby World Cup 2011.

English Ref??

Welcome to the forum, Hedley.

It's good to have you on-board.

Thanks Hedley, I couldn't believe it myself, being an avid Welshy rugby fan. How the heck the ref didn't allow our James Hooks' penalty, I will never know.

Hook should have been playing at number 10 not 15.

He missed one penalty and our number 10 missed a relatively easy drop goal attempt on their 22. :_| (Inexperience? Nerves?)

I really enjoyed that matech - fabulous! The boys were unlucky not to get a win there... Wales were the winners against South Africa in the 2011 Rugby World Cup, in my eyes. :)

They run rings around South Africa (although South Africa came out of the starting blocks, with all guns blazing) - to Wales put the 2010 World Cup Champions under so much pressure and make them make so many mistakes - we had them worried for most of the game.

Jamie Roberts was outstanding in that game. Well done to all Welsh players for their great effort.

Pitty for the ref though. :_|
