Have you actual opened up the sensors and metered out all of the individual cores of every cable???

Without testing the cables first you may as well be pi55ing in the wind trying to second guess if something works or doesn't...

Unless someone has deliberately sabotaged all of the wiring it is statistically unlikely to have every cable damaged...

Which will probably throw up a TAMPER fault, and lock out the panel
No it won't.

If it's a problem with the 12v supply it will not show a tamper. The abacus 8 does not "lock out"

It is not the friendliest panel to try and programme and does have some funny quirks.  It does have one redeeming feature (depending on software version). In tests, you can test the different sounds it makes. 😜

Yes the OP has "all the time in the world" to fix / repair it, but for a panel that is not the easiest to work on, one that has more than a few quirks when it does work, I would be inclined to install a new alarm from scratch because by the time all the cables have been checked for damage (and i do mean check every cm of every cable) it would be quicker to install a new alarm.
