Are they asking for "earth continuity tests" of the steel conduit/trunking before energising?

Are you saying the steel conduit and trunking are used as the earth CCPs ?

Either way a high current continuity test.

Correction to Oracle: High current continuity test is now NOT recommended, as a hidden joint at high resistance could cause arcing, with the subsequent risk of fire.
