I would say that you`re viral mate. Maybe not seriously; but definitely something unhealthy going on.

I`ll send you a couple of proggies I`ve got here - maybe they`ll help

I have AVG - Avast - and I notice that it is only happening since i bought this antivirus 2008 (Yesterday).

I cannot find it in the add / remove programmes.

you may find remove/uninstall in the start menu

Hi Craig - I meant that I couldn't find the "Antivirus 2008" in the add / remove programmes' section Mate.

If you go through the start menu-all programs pop-up; you should find an entry for avast; possibly under "grisoft". Sub-menu from there should allow uninstall; or at least modify. Modify is ok; as you can often press a radio button to change the modify to repair or uninstall.

Failing that - we`ll try something else..............
