I see. so 'temporary' mean a life of 2 1/2 years maximum

i was thinking more like 5 mins max, until the hamster has his rest and gets back to work (New EU rules, hamster cant work too long without a break)

mmm - wouldn't that be an intermittent electrical system rather than a temporary one? The system remains in place whilst the hamster is on it's EU directed rest periods.
