Hired tester

I'm currently hiring one of those new megger multifuntion testers while mine is being adjusted.

It's thrown me when it comes to doing Zs/Ze tests. The manual was useless.

Can anyone who has this meter tell me what each setting represents

There's Z, Max Z, Zref, R1R2

All I want is to measure Zs with no trip or normally.

If its the mft 1700 range put it in you tube there's a video with somebody from megger demonstrating it a good watch

different models in the same range often have additional or different settings.
