Home automation Lighting(advice on x10)

Hi there wondering if anyone here can point me to a good fourm on home automation or give some help your selfs.I am a sparky to trade so the cabling connecting things up side of things i am ok with.SO here is the down doing up my bedroom at the minute and want three lighting circuits One to operate Ceiling downlights,One for Wall Lights,One for leds Now the only circuit i want to Also be able to use a usual light switch for is the ceiling lights.So i want to be able to control all three ciruicts via remote and also control just ceiling lights with a usual switch

So the plan was to use my harmony 555 remote for av stuff and lighting

IS this the only additional stuff i would need

had a customer who was into this system and used it quite well to suit his needs, and it actually made wiring his house a bit easier!

looks to be a bit cheaper from there.

Thanks for that will have a look the x10 seems best bang for buck when you look at the likes of lutron and rako systems but then again i have never used any systems so i will need to take the plunge and order the stuff to find out for my self
