Please help! We have just moved into a new flat and we have one of these systems and no matter what we do or how many times we set the programme we cannot seem to get any hot water unless we put the boost on. We both work nights so we need hot water between the hours of 5pm- 7am, and again in the day for washing up etc. we've had an electrician come out and he replaced the element in the bottom tank which allowed us to have water through the boost but that was it. Please can someone help me with some proper advise and steps on how to set the water heater so it suits our needs. Thank you!!

Have you confirmed that you actually have an Economy 7 supply?

OP take readings of day and night and then again in 2 days ..... this should show you if you have economy 7 or not

if said spark changed the lower element hasn’t this helped?

Well I'm told by the estate agents that's what it is ? How would I be certain ? 

No didn't do nothing we had enough water for one shower through the boost options but that is it

If it was midnight in Manchester and an estate agent told me it was dark outside I would go and check!
