hosting files

anyone suggest a secure-ish site I can host a 27MB file?

its actually a .pdf if that makes any difference.

Im trying to send some e.mails, but the other e.mail (m$) cant accept such a large file.

Steps,

IF you create a hotmail account you could upload it to your virtual disk & then let the other user access it from there.

Can you not do this same sort of thing through Ubuntu One?

I know it's not secure, but if you upload it as a password protected zip file then it will be

Hotmail has an outgling size limit of 25MB

can you not use winzip or something to split it into smaller files?

you can .zip files in ubuntu though, and its compatible with M$,

never used Ubuntu one, will look into that now,

I know that Ubuntu handles zip files OK, but never tried, yet to split a file when zipping it in "U"

I have NO idea how to split files of any sort,

trying Ubuntu one now, seems to be what I need, just need to figure out how to let someone else DL the file,
