hello chaps,

just wonderd how much you would charge for changing 3 pendants to fancy fittings and 2x wall lights?

involved scratching around in the attic to put a nogging in on 2 lights.

the customer has more work so dont want to over charge but still dont want to undersell.

I would work out how long it will take some fancy fittings are a nightmare to fit so allow time for this. If you have to go in loft allow a bit extra for that not nice crawling around in insulation.

How long to get there, how far to go, how long did it take you, what mtls did you use?

depends how fancy the fittings are, sometimes you can spend 15-20mins just putting them together first.

If you've already done the job just charge for how long it took, if your pricing I'd say 70-90quid

The last umpteen jobs like this I have also had to send the customer out shopping or gone myself to fetch the frlipping lamps as well!

They want light in their rooms but forget the most obviuos part headbang

I always charge 30 mins per fitting but with a minimum call out if its only 1 fitting to put up.
