i have elecsa assesment in a few weeks and i have a number of issues i know i have done wrong.

1. because of original wirring alongside pipes where joists where over cut to install plumbing i have used notch system without adequate protection.

2. i have 1, replaced a cable that is going from upstairs bedroom into cavity wall to downstairs consevatory. 2,connected via mf box in front bedroom to existing cable in cavity wall at front of the house.

3.kitchen extention lights and sockets was fed from cable embeded in ceiling plasterboard to overcome a lintel holding up ceiling.i put metal capping up to protect new cables.

so if you weren't getting assessed you would of not worried about what you have done ?

Wiring through notches without plating Eh!! You'll be taken to ELECSA HQ for that , a sound beating in the cellar then driven away and dumped in the middle of nowhere after a week in the Electrical Offender's Centre.

If you know you did it wrong why did you do it like that in the first place?
