Increasing the electric current through a conductor causes it to become

a heated

b cooled

c corroded

d demagnetised

had this question in college my tutor said answer is heated but online answer is demagnetised? :|

What online material said demagnetised? 1st I've heard about copper being a ferromagnet, also would it not be classed as Degaussing now I

this is why we need to de-rate cables that go through insulation etc, and need to protect them from overload so they dont get too hot

 
its on an exam paper i found online a while back!
From what I can remember almost ever sample paper I ever had always seemed to have at least one question with the wrong answer on it! :(

In fact one of our proper exams had a wrong answer..

so they had to adjust everyones marks accordingly! :|

This is where a bit of common sense has to come in..

stick to basics of what you have learnt;)

 
yeh its true,im going through the questions that im not 100% about and some of them are a nightmare!
