Mate of a mate called round to see me & asked if I can look at his tp installation & what if anything is needed for a rewire on his little farm. While chatting he mentioned that last week the upfront rcd tripped, he reset it but called a local sparks out as it has become a frequent occurance.

that is probably the most interesting dilemma I have ever read. ANYWHERE. I so want to to know how this pans out. SERIOUSLY. The only remotely nearest thing i heard of that aroused my curiosity as much was a thread where somebody reported getting shocks off a rad. Turned out the earth was so good, THEY were giving shocks to the rad via the static built up fro their new carpet!
