Hi, I'm doing a PIR in a factory and have come across a circuit which is a Radial, feeding 6 wall sockets.

It is run in galv conduit in singles all 2.5mm and the protection is from a C32 amp circuit breaker.

Firstly am I right to look at the on site guide and see that it should be a maximum of 23 amps so this circuit fails anyway?

My main question is that the wall sockets are those blue 2 pin and earth IP44 (Commando) sockets and the plugs used in them do not have fuses.

At the minute a cleaner plugging a floor polisher in isn't good.

What is the maximum size circuit breaker I can use to feed these Blue un-fused outlets?

commando sockets must be protected at their rating, except 16A which can be protected by 20A

this is a very basic question. are you sure your competent to be doing this?
