Iphone backup

Hi,

Just wondered what you guys use to backup your iphones inc contacts, notepad, photos, diary and calender.

The program im after isnt connected to itunes at all as all this does on my laptop is freeze it ffs.

Your iPhone comes with software to back up the iPhone called ICloud it is a very good bit of software which will automatically backup all your documents all you have to do is enable it in settings them make sure the relevant are ticked ie photos,calanders etc.

I use iCloud religiously now especially since my laptops death. I cloud isn't linked to iTunes

Both my iPad and iPhone both back up to it. Hth

iCloud is just way to little storage TBH, I only have 35.4Gb free on my iPad now and no music or photos once the data & apps I want for work are on it, this would cost $100 per annum to back up to iCloud, ridiculous!

My contacts are sync'd with my gmail contacts, which are sync'd to my Android phone,,,, all automatically

Well, the backup and restore option on iTunes is pretty complete. And with the presence of the iCloud, I think that it makes for backing up to the really easy and could be done just on the fly.

I hope though they could have more options that are available to the public. Pretty much how Dropbox works. But with it almost tying up with android, it would be hard to imagine them switching tides as well.

On the iPhone subject if anyone wants a video player that saves you have to convert everything to MP4 then try the CineXplayer app. Available for iPad as well.

Word on the street is Androids make much better doorstops than iphones and blackberries put together lol
