Hi

Does anyone know what iTunes backs up when you do a backup.

Does it backup notes and diary ?

everywhere you have been and any website you have been on, then it sends it all to Mr Jobs who will pass your info to whoever pays him for it.

He is as bad as Mr Gates getting.

a world without walls doesnt need windows or gates,

It backs up everything you can not get from somewhere else (e.g. online email, calender music etc...).

Matty - Caution if using a PC.

My wife backed hers up and iTunes updated her software for her...

error error error eventually not even turning on, resetting or showing any sign of life at all!!

Two days later ended up in apple shop getting high fiving shop assistant resetting it on a mac saying iphones don't like PC's too many firewalls etc. Lots of people with PC's have similar problem he said.

She got most of her stuff back, but not before the tears fell.

a lesson to be learnt,

if you buy one apple product, they want to buy everything apple, or pay to fix it.

if you buy one MS product, they want you to buy everything MS, or pay to fix it.

if you buy OSS, and it goes wrong, you have the majority of people somewhere trying to help you to fix it for free.
