to download NICEIC Domestic Electrical Installation Periodic Inspection Report Forms at all?

(Preferably for free but if not, an idea of cost too would be appreciated!)

Thanks people.

Pray

easier just to use your own/7671 forms

i dont think you can download the forms - they have serial numbers. best you could do is buy a pad and print onto them

The only ones I have seen have got speciman in grey across the centre

i might have some back in the office with erm *cough* the specimen removed ;)

Will save buying the pads.

O.

Ps - i use easycert - it rocks :)

I would not reccomend trying to download or use certificates that are not within your scope. (could imply you are trying to mislead the customer)

You can buy them under a different colour, if you want them, or the better option is to use your own certificates, I have just tried the easycert and I am pleased with the results.

I have created my own, in MS Word, using everybody else's as a template. It took a few nights setting everything up but I now have customised EIC's, MWC's and PIR's that include all the relevant info.

If you are comfortable using Word, make your own from a composite of the sample BS7671 forms and the niccy, napit and elecsa forms. Otherwise, get photocopies of each and toss them at your local computer whiz-kid. The cost of a few beers should get you some good templates.

PS any good recipes lately?

I would be happy to send a copy of my certs to anyone who wanted possibly use them (as long as they like cats) but they would have to edit them to reflect their own information. Mine include prefilled boxes for things like business name, logo, test instrument details etc. Not hard to edit but you still need to know a little about how to do it. Not as easy as Easycert, but prettier!

Thats just typical, trust a woman to out do us by making even the certificates prettier than ours:^O

Thank you everybody for your help.

No recipes for a long time now I'm afraid Janice, though if there was a particular one you fancied I'm sure Id be able to help out!

There are 2 options that I use and are quiet simple:

1) Assuming that you have the latest BS7671 (17th edition) you have samples of all the certs in the book. You can scan them and than add text or logos as you wish using one of Microsoft office programs, I us publisher. Or you can photocopy the pages when you need them, I admit this is not a very practical option.

2) http://www.theiet.org/publishing/wiring-regulations/forms/ go to this site and look for the forms on the right hand side of the page, you can download the lot free and than you will have to modify them to suite your needs.
