Hi my names Brad I'm trying to create a little set up with no experience of electricity so need a little help please im just wonding how to do my lights and is it safe what iv done 4x12v batteries parallel connected to a 1500w 3000wpeak inverter to a 240v consumer unit then from there I have 2sockets wired lives going into breakers separately neutral and earth going to correct positions in consumer separately ( can these go into same breaker ?) Then the third is lights live neutral and earth coming from consumer live into switch com live from L1 neutral and earth run past switch straight to lighting?

So basically an off grid setup?

I would recommend following TT earthing arrangements, so you need an earth rod for the mains side. Your inverter may also require an earth - check the manufacturers guidelines.

Personally I would have run lights direct off the batteries in ,12V or 24v gear, as that would be safer than mains. Plus it reduces losses in converting to 240v at the inverter.
