Can anyone advise as to whether or not this main intake (in domestic premises) is still acceptable or not please ? Is that a fuse in the neutral or just a connection? Thanks in advance

I've had them change better so as Andy said give them a bell and ask them to check it out.

Therein lies the problem!

Most DNO`s just aren`t interested in dealing with issues such as this - even though they have a duty of care to maintain THEIR installation to a reasonable standard........

Fusebox looks like a temp one feeding one socket in a temp fashion. I'd assume the pic was taken at the commencement of a rewire.

Which reminds me I must knock up that board with a 2way CU and a socket, with a set of tails to give me some kettle power on those longer CU upgrades

just contact them on emergency number and have it checked out any engineer that came out (my guys anyway) would have that upgraded.

Also all DNOs will replace if there is any damage what so ever even if its loose on the wall ect.........
