I_nd_ia is a country of 1bn and last year the total car market was 1m. The car market in the UK (pop 64m) is 2m, double the size.

The I_nd_ian market is the fastest growing car market in the world. Most manufacturers are gearing up to increase either exports to there or introduce production facilities there.

This is the main reason Tata bought Jaguar Land Rover. They were after the Engineering expertise and expanded model range.

Got a couple of mates working out in I-N-D-I-A at the moment, the co. they work for (I used to) sell automotive can & crank grinders, they & China seem to be the biggest market at the moment.

Mind the machines are actually Designed & Made in the UK!
