I think the recent report that a few large contractors are looking into dropping out of JIB membership has galvanised the JIB into action .

There is a two page spread in this months ECA Magazine extolling their virtues , I think we will be hearing more from them in the near future. They are re-launching their pension scheme for instance.

I was surprised to read that they function with a staff of ten.

I am in the process of re registering. My membership expired in 1996

I did that after about 16 years estimating and supervising , they keep all records it would appear.
