Laptop Help

[SLIPSHOD & SLAPDASH]

On my old laptop which is running W7 professional, I have accidentally managed to put the bottom toolbar vertically up the right hand side. How do I get it back at the bottom ?

Separate thing, on my new laptop running W8 I don't appear to have any spell check on this forum, I use Firefox. Am I missing something ?

What's so good about that?

I was browsing over the weekend on my Sister's Mac. I hated not having a right button on the mouse. So restrictive.

On this PC, if I right click a link, I get the option to "open in a new tab" With no right button, nothing like that on the mac. So backwards. :coat

Cant drag it back. I must have accidentally clicked something and draged it to the right but if i try to drag it back all it does is fill the screen..
 
What about missing spellcheck on W8 ?

Could be locked already.

Make sure unlocked then with pointer on the edge drag down right to bottom, it will not go with you so continue to drag with left button held down so your pointer goes past the bottom then let go.

yer. spot on, except without paying for it, you can get the kernel exactly the same way Apple did and use Linux,

AH, so they took a brilliant OS, made it worse, and charge a premium for it?

sound almost as bad as Microsh!te they do.!

There is depending how its set up

You can have a right click on the magic mouse or you just CTRL - left click (standard mac) which is right clicking

So it can be like windoze or mac

or simply the way it was originally written before some idiot messed about with it so they could charge a small fortune for the pleasure of becoming niche,?

Done thanks, although had to select properties from the windows icon, not the screen.  I still cant get used to W8. Just found out its resized all my pics.

PS , What about missing spell check on W8

on FF AFAIAA its a plugin/addon

try that first, works for me, but I am using a weird geeky, obscure OS that doesnt work half as good as W19 though.  :|

Fire Fox, spell checker is an add-on, nothing to do with W8
