Led Dimmer And 2 Way

Hi,

How do you know which dimmer switches work with certain led downlighter lamps?

Ie, I like using the sylvania led lamps that toolstation sell for around £16 but wanted to know which dimmers will work with it.

Also would I be able to 2 way it easily with another 2 way switch by the bed?

I use Varilight trailing edge ones, with a bog standard 2 way at the other end

MK are trailing edge, but I also use varilight,

So all led lamps need a trailing edge dimmer ?

Not necessarily, some lamps will work with either leading or trailing. Best to read the spec sheet that comes with the lamp.
