Replaced all the lights in the operating theatre with LEDs. I listen to the radio when I operate, and was having trouble getting a signal recently. I was blaming the hot weather/electricity in the air/thunder. Still playing silly buggers today so bought a new radio. That was having the same issue. Turned the LED lights off and then the radio worked.

Running eight of these:

Some weird EMF interference? Anything I can do?

Loving the extra light.

I have same issue in my kitchen,

2 sets of lights, 6+4 , different makes, makes no difference what ones are on, radio still gets interference, got a cheapo digital radio from tesco/asda/wherever it was, digital is spot on,  :D

Had same problem with them, supplier sent me some suppressors but still did not solve the problem totally so they repaced them with a newer type which were fine.

I had to replace all the old 600x600 florry units with JCC skytiles to stop RF distortion on the radio equipment on the fire service control unit, no issues to date with the JCC units, but during trials some other (has to be said cheaper) LED units caused huge RF distortion on the handheld radios & caused clipping on the repeater units in the work station area.

Just to be super safe we sheilded the radio packs & all antenna RG58 cable runs.

I have an Internet/FM/AM/DAB radio in the house Hi-Fi unit, excellent!!!

Internet radio does need a fast enough internet connection.

My end unit is wired, but it obviously needs your ISP connection to be fast enough to stream.

Though I can stream internet radio down 3G on my iPad OK.

So, it does not need to be that fast,

And what would  ...."Music to operate on dogs" be ?

Thanks for the post BTW  ...not come across it as yet but give it time , then I can nod sagely and announce that I know all about this problem . ;)
