This may be simple t is this but as an older spark is it new to me. When trying to do loop impedance test on radial circuits the rcbo trips off before I get a reading solution please thanks
Yet another reason to disregard the NICEIC and the fact they think they are the regs polisSorry I am not making myself clear the niceic are suggesting that we need to go through all the dead testing first including R1 +R2 . Zs can be calculated. Next they suggest we pull back from live tests and in the case of rcbos we only do the 1× test to prove compliance. They state there has never been a regulation to say we have too do 5x or 180' degree just pick one so less live testing
Safety first, so why the heck do we work with something that trys to kill us all dayI’d question why they recommend as little live testing as possible? I’ve not heard of a competent tester dying from live testing but as a disclaimer I don’t claim to know all ‘live’ testers.
Blimey, I am not going to be happy if I can't plug me kettle in to get live hot water for me tea but of course I only want it tasted not tested. .safety first, cant be doing live testing, even if it is Zs at a socket using a plug in lead
Yep he told me he was very experienced and knew what he was doingBut he did get a loop at least until it broke circuit!
he may not have got the result he was anticipating, but everyone else didhe did not get the result that he was anticipating ️
Must have been Megger to see as it wasn’t by Fluke that it happened!Yep he told me he was very experienced and knew what he was doing
Reckoned his meter was faulty! It wasn't initially, but later on.......
AVO some compassion here, CLAREly some won't understand this whereas it's SIEMENgly obvious to othersMust have been Megger to see as it wasn’t by Fluke that it happened!
See ward I did there!
