Hi

I have been asked to change over some shop sign lighting. the client wants to use a more energy efficient design type.

At the moment there are x6 150w flood lights to cover a standard single fronted shop.

I have found these energy efficient units and would like some help regarding if anyone has used them before and how many do you think will be needed. it is a standard shop front distance...

at the moment i am thinking to use 6, but what do u suggest.. plus i am finding it hard to track down new spiril 38w replacement lamp bulbs...

the cable that i want to use is TRS as i have had recommadations from previous threads on the forum...

the 42w version of this is great. ie fitted loads of them. they do a 26w version too and both available with photocells. think discount electrical are doing them for about 40quid
sorry i meant electrifix

its equivalent to a 60w halogen patch, probably going to be too dim. if you really want to use a halogen CFL replacement, id go with a 500W fitting and the largest CFL you can fit in there. or 70W MH wall or flood lights?

A single 42Watt CFL is equivalent to 200Watts.

What floodlights are you replacing, HQI, sodium?
