Looking for something to monitor a 12V battery and close a volt free contact when the voltage drops below a pre-set.

What would be the proper name for such a device (so that I can Google it), and/or where can I buy one?

Thanks in advance.

A relay?

All depends on how specific (and value) you want the voltage to be before it operates?

O.

one of these?

to use with volt free contact, you would need to add a relay to output. also, you cant adjust the voltage setting. other than that, they are very useful. i have 2 of them in my van (one for sink, one for fridge/whatever else i have in the cab)
