Lyte Fibre Glass Combination Ladder

Does anyone have/use a Lyte Fibre Glass combination ladder like the following:

Aren't they rather heavy? Depends if you're likely to need a fibreglass ladder really, I'd go for the aluminium one, and just did in fact. Hailo 2.4m one with adjustable legs for uneven surfaces for

ive got youngman fibre glass ladders and they weigh a ton and dont extend that far compared to same size aluminum ones. do look go though.

I have a GRP or Glass Reinforced Plastic (fibre glass) step ladder and a GRP double extension ladder - Non conductive every time, you never know!

Hi guys,

As these are trade/domestic they are lighter than most aluminium steps - 10.4Kg (ali tends to be 14Kg). The industrial versions are heavier.

They won't get daily use - hence I'm happy not having the industrial versions.

Anyone own a set?
