i am not going to mention climate change, I am not going to mention climate change  :innocent

Have a good Xmas, coal fire is burning, I'm driving a round in circles shopping for stuff sent from half way around the world, putting up a real tree to look pretty in the lounge and hte eco-bunny role can fork off for  week or 2. So in the spirit of Peace to All men, I'll start the arguments again next year. :slap

:Y :Y :Y Guinness Guinness Guinness   Merry Crimbo.

I can't believe you subscribe to the use of a real tree, isn't cutting down of trees assisting with GW?

Or are you a pick and choose GW campaigner!!!!

Merry Christmas.

tree will be re-cycled as carbon neutral firewood or given to a project to stabilise sand dunes or something. Anyway, my carbon footprint equates to a forest worth of trees saved having fitted about 800,000kW of solar panels. I don't eco-warrior cos I give a **** about a rare newt, it's actually about saving money - all those floods will be paid for out of insurance and taxes, ie all of us, from our money.

For the last week or so it's been bloody freezing up here, far too cold to get up on the roof. So I'm enjoying the mild weather thank you.
It's meant to be bloody freezing, but as we are still fitting solar I'm quite happy too as it's a lot nicer than frosty mornings. It's just plain wrong!

We have signed up to a tree planting scheme that is linked to our fuel cards and will plant enough trees to make up for the CO2 our vehicles create.

Haven't seen a carbon offset scheme for a while. They may well plant trees, but no one said they would look after them. Might be worth finding out how many trees need to be planted and talking to an outfit like the woodland trust then sponsoring them?
