What can you do? If you look deep enough you can pick holes in all environmentally friendly products. Look at electric cars.

Haven't seen a carbon offset scheme for a while. They may well plant trees, but no one said they would look after them. Might be worth finding out how many trees need to be planted and talking to an outfit like the woodland trust then sponsoring them?

I have driven VW's all my life, not the rusty ones! Apart from a golf, gone off the brand a bit... I hear they are hiking up leasing and other prices to pay for "the scandal"! 

Do BMW do a offset scheme?

I cannot believe that is there. I hated that theme as all members without an avatar came up as a snowman. I kept thinking the same person was posting. Doh!
