metrel multi-function testers

I have got a new metrel mi 3100 are all metrel testers the same on the rcd setting?.On mine you just press down or up while your on rcd to select rcd auto etc.On a metrel we had at college (don't know which model it was)I think you had to press down to select rcd auto press test and press display to get times 1 and times 5 rcd results is this write?

far as I'm aware there all slightly different. My spare testers a metrel, someone i know has a different one, ive seen a few different models. As long as it works whats problem?
