I have got a C.U to move so existing circuits will need extending from old position. What is the best method for these connections ,ie JB's , as no access will be available to these connections??????

often do that, makes a nice beet job although customer not always willing for additional cost of enclosure etc. i usually cost this stuff in during pre site survey. If you can fit an encosure, do so with some DIN rail & say some SAK's or WDU's depending on which DIN rail you use!
With the abundance of various sizes of enclosures and boxes available on the market I would have though it quicker, cheaper and more cost effective to just purchase a suitably sized off-the-shelf enclosure rather than cutting and making any custom box arrangement?Would making an MDF enclosure to mount CU to and then using DIN rail with wago's to extend the cabling be OK. They would be hidden in the MDF enclosure.
