I have a client who asked me for a multiple shaver socket

Does anybody know where I can purchase a tranny and four gang two pin socket for his four toothbrushes?

They don't exist. Each item should be electrically separated, so you need a separate transformer for each socket.

No don't exist. Looked for them myself.

The double gang ones are dual voltage.

They USED to exist, `cos we had `em in our house, when it were all round pin stuff....

We had a long thingy with 4 sockets on it.

Aptsys: Care to explain WHY you require seperate transformers? What would be the problem?

Music: You "could" get hold of 5A sockets (small round pin), and wire them to an isolating transformer. That`d work...........

is "electrical separation" not defined by the fact that the transformer separates the the load from the supply; thus eliminating the need for a CPC as there is no path back to earth,,, only L and N from the tranny?

on this assumption I would have thought if one was separated then four could be separated by the same tranny

somebody shoot me down in flames ,,,please!
