What kind of music do you enjoy when happily working for your daily crust ?

I prefer Planet Rock on DAB, get some good oldies like Iron Maiden and Pink Floyd. Can't deal with Radio 1 or Kerrang! anymore, too many adverts and pointless drivel by the DJ's. Chris Moyles needs a good slapping.

Kerrang! Can;t listen to that for a day. The sparkys on a job had that on, full blast. It gets a bit much after about 3 or 4 songs, rock isn;t meant to be listened to all day.

Dunnon about the maiden but love Pink Floyd, Quo Deep Purple, Rush and all those classic rock. However got no dab so have to listen to Evans and co - cant be doing with Radio 1

I find Kerrang! more of a modern thrashy noise infested rock station with adverts like "We buy any car .......... .com" (repeat many times for full effect), whereas Planet Rock is more cultured and varied :) Rick's place it superb (Rick Wakeman that is)

i have metro on most of the time, but i prefer metal/rock

Radio 1 is too much for me. I usually listen to commercial local radio, TFM or Real radio. TFM has just changed the breakfast presenter to a total wally who I can't stomach so I have switched off in the morning!

My boys tell me Dark Side Of The Moon is not best appreciated, during working hours.

The Godfather

Can't be doing with Moyles anymore, maybe it's me getting old as i used to like him in my younger days! Time for him to go i reckon, i've heard Vernon Kay is next in line for that job.

I enjoy a bit of radio 2 in the morning, then radio 1 in the afternoon. Jesus, did i really just say radio 2? I really am getting old!

Rest of the time - Ipod. Eclectic mix of music - Classical, Opera, Pop, 50`s, 60`s, 70`s, 80`s, 90`s, noughties.

Owt apart from indie & garage. Utter rubbish!!!!(IMO)

Be careful with that ipod when working. I know of someone who was seen twitching and jerking while holding on to a socket in a kitchen. A well meaning person took a piece of wood and whacked him to remove him from the source of electricity. Turns out he wasnt being electrocuted he was listening to his ipod. You have been warned! bad day explode
