New Member Wanting A Change

Hi all,

I've just joined (so first post).

For last 30 years been working in electronic engineering (various), but have recently left a long term job for a change in direction.

Recently passed part P, 17th edition and C&G 2392 as I would eventually like to move my skills into domestic installation work.

Have been following your excellent forum for some time and decided to take the plunge and join.

Hope i can contribute.

what do you mean when you say you have passed part-P?

do you mean the new 2393 or 2397?

i thought the 2392 had stopped.

Pewter, the 2393 is the Building Regulations course, the 2397 is the new Domestic NVQ3 if My memory serves Me correctly.

Pewter 2392 is still going it is a level 2 course 2391 has finished

The 2392/2391 suite is being/has been replaced by  2394/5/6

I am aware of what they are also.

The OP said he had passed part-p, I wondered if he ment either of those 2 courses.

Maby he ment he passed an assessment to be a QS
