hi all, i have decided i want to be a electrician after long thinking and talking to my wife etc,i work full time and paying for this NvQ,is it the best thing to go for has a newbie and will my chances in the games be better than doing just domestic installer,i am 42 and just want a change in my career, i have thought long and hard about it and hope its not a mistake and i know its a fairly hard Nvq, so just wanted comments on this or am i to old lol...

 
Welcome to the forum, anything new is going to look hard at first but all becomes clear after many sleepless nights worrying about it. :)

i am doing the same course as u. my 1 year is out the way already. in my opinion it will be an advantage if u got a bit of knoledge. course looks harder than it is but I managed.. :) . I wish u good luck with the course in case u decide to go for this one.
