Dentists visit this morning - see the hygienist for a scraping session - OW:_| To make it worse, she`s put me on 3 day antibiotics (NO Guinnessfor me.)

She`s only done half the top row - wants to finish the job on Thursday, FCOL!

So, to cheer ourselves up, we book the holidays DYAY:x).

Then I go to sort out a little job this afternoon - all goes tickety-boo until I`m on my way home, and the **** van won`t go into 4th gear. It`ll go into all the others, but not fourth.

Problem is the synchro fork inside the gearbox :_| :_| :_|

If I don`t get it sorted, bit of broken fork could drop into a cog - knaffered box. bad day explode

So, box out - repaired - refitted -

Look on the bright side at least you can pay for it all, last time my van went wrong cost me a grand and it had to go on the cc. There is always a positive, two in this case JAMAICA! Enjoy

Lee - Its a Doblo (Fiat). The box is apparently repairable; but the duomass flywheel is gone, and the clutch / diff aren`t good, either.

I never have these issues anymore as i always buy new van every three years.

If I cannot spend the money I`m working for to enjoy a break and "recharge my batteries", as it were, then what`s the point?
