Thanks specs, no stores near me, but I am going to send the mrs in today (hopefully) as she trains in manchester

Well the mrs got this today, im pretty impressed! I've never used a Fein tool before I have nothing to compare it to, but it cuts through wood pretty well!

Has anyone got this Bosch (Green) version and is it any good. I always believed that Bosch (green) was more aimed at DIY and bosch (blue) was aimed for harder use (trade).

I saw this in my Makro mail and didnt know whether to have a pop or wait another year and save up for the fein.

Also one other question. What do most of you use to cut out plasterboard to fit dryline boxes? Im using my trusty Stanley as i have been for ages but heard people using these multitools to do it?

Cheers

I tend use my Bosch multitool (RIF blade) or a dry wall saw to cut in dry line boxes,,,, never a stanley

I have ad my multitool for a couple of years now and it's great,,, I think if I had to replace it that I'd get the Fein though,, the value for money is there if you look at the blades that you get with it!

What drywall saw do you use Noz as mines abit viscous and would tear the board up around the edges of the cut. Stanley does it nice and neat. Any reason why youd never use a Stanley? Ive not worked with many other sparks so my methods are what ive been taught by my dad and from what ive seen others do. So your advice is really important tbh. Thanks

My last drywall saw(I call them padsaws!) came from Asda, cost a couple of quid, made by DRAPER, and only single edge, I prefer that as if you are cutting a round hole for downlights or such it doesnt track the back edge on you.

back on track now, went to Clas Ohlsons today for a multitool, got a
