Hi all,
I recently fitted a new c/u, no major problems, all tests came out fine. I then get a call a few days later saying the RCD keeps tripping. I'm going to take a plug in RCD and test various appliances individually, but going by the customers description of the problem, it sounds like the cooker/oven.
Is there anything that can be done about this? I realise that on a new install the cable to the cooker could be installed in earthed metallic conduit, negating the requirement of RCD protection, but this is not an option for this case.
Thanks for any input or suggestions,
Stuart.
