They are standing upside down under water, feet on the ice sheet. Hence the bubbles appearing to go down.

The "water" in the wheelbarrow is actually the surface of the water, as the barrow is mostly full of air.

Nice Video

One of the divers is using a Poseidon JetStream Regulator - One of the best regs for freshwater/ice diving as it doesn't freeze and freeflow - That was when i did diving some 15+ years ago
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT,!

All,of my regs (apart from Deco regs) are jetstreams. Best reg in the world, end of.

I am actually a factory trained Poseidon Service Technician so i can repair and service all of my own equipment

There are actually 2 sort of needles that are prone to corrosion

The one on the end of the servo in the second stage, breathing in causes the negative pressure within the body of the second stage to move the diaphragm. This in turns actuates the lever which in trun allows a higher volume of gas to pass the internal second stage and thence into the divers mouth. A lot of divers do not like this action as they say it is like opening a trap door to the breathing gas. They have not dived a Jetstream which has been set up correctly on a Magnahelic pressure gauge.

This needle is constantly wet and sometimes seizes up

The other is constantly dry and lives within the base of the first stage.....unless somebody rinses the valve without fitting the cover seal first.

A common trick which we do when ice diving is to fit a cold water kit made by poseidon over the first stage and then fill this with Vodka. The vodka does not freeze and so in turn it keeps the water away from the "wet" side of the firsr stage

GRRRRRRRREAT!!!!!!!

I was contemplating the upside down thing, specially when the barrow floated away! But the head wouldn't except what the eyes were seeing.
Old diving trick, if you do not know which way is "up", watch the bubbles. Also the bubbles should always be going FASTER than you are
