Hi,
Wonder if I could get some opinions on 3 quotes I've had.
All 4Kw systems.
1. Antaris M6 panels a Solax inverter, a smart water heater and a solar optimiser for £9,500 (20 year inverter warranty)
2. Antaris M6 panels, a Solax inverter, and a smart water heater for £7,500 (20 year inverter warranty).
3. Q Cell Pro G3 panels, a Fronius IG Plus inverter and smart water heater for £6,500 (10 year inverter warranty).
House faces South East, minimal shading < 10%, we don't use that much electric ourselves, £600 - £700 a year.
The installer of quote number 3 said he didn't think the optimiser was worth the outlay, they don't offer one. I did like the individual panel monitoring it provides but I'm not sure its worth another £2,000.
I've a £9,500 max budget for this, however anything I spend under that I'll just pay off the mortgage, so the money is getting spent either way.
I'd really appreciate some guidance on whether the quotes offer value for money? I've a 4th quote to come from another installer and will update when i have that, but I expect it to be roughly inline with quote 3 above.
Thanks,
Neil
