Can anyone recommend the above for consumer units please?Pray
yes!............. :)

but I cant find the part numbers! :(

I have some MK locks and some CEF own brand locks..

which I use with some "wilkinson padlocks"!

seem to be able to do most MCB types with them..

i will stick a photo on later to show what they are like.. :)

sorry, Blushing

I thought OP meant to lock the CU/DB rather than the individual MCBs,

on that note, recently I seem to be coming across a rather lot with no pinholes in them to fit a lockout device!!!

more F'in hassle. X( X(

Depending upon maker they do make kits for distribution boards replacing normal catch with a lockable type.

Only problem with this is that it is a standard key normally supplied so anyone can have one if an electrician.

MEM boards can be replaced with a padlock type which means you can use your own padlocks thus making access difficult without key.

Brilliant, thanks everyone - especially Special - that picture was a great help...I knew how to use the dolly locks, but didn't have a clue about how to use the MK ones!Blushing
