make sure num lock is on, hold alt, and press 0153, then release alt

note: alt codes only work on number pad on RHS of keyboard - not the numbers above the letters

That's Windoze, not sure Steps is a Windoze box man, maybe Linux or Mac?

Would this work on those OS's?

I have to put the num lock on on my laptop to get it to work.

the only way may be to search for alt codes, find what you want, and copy it!

i did try linux a few times, but there was a lack of programs that worked properly with it, so i gave up and put the windows hard drive back in

which version are you using??

I use the Noob version. Ubuntu .

I find it so so much easier than I ever did windows, XP or vista,

I even tried the new 7 at the beginning of the year but still didnt think it was any easier than XP, vista was just a total nightmare for me.

I do have an XP virtual machine on my Ubuntu for the odd thing I need windows for, but usually I just dont bother if it needs windows I go elsewhere, Ive never used it.

i dont have any problems with windows 7. did install vista at one point, but changed back to XP within weeks. although its still on my laptop

Never really liked linux as a desktop. Just wasn't proper unix. Now OSX, thats a superb desktop OS.
