Pat Test Labels

Hi all, need to get some PAT test labels. Should I buy the personalized ones that have consecutive ID numbers printed on them? Cheers

Your choice. I dont do that much so just have a roll of blanks i fill in for each job. Some may think its free advertising though.

No one will look at them JLperry  just get the bog standard ones ,  but a hint ,   make sure they are not the type of shiny plastic that you have difficulty writing on .

Some a ballpoint keeps fading out , you try a more liquid pen and it wipes off .

Pre numbered labels are no good.

If you go back to do an annual test in say an office, most of the stuff will be there from last time. You simply test, re label the stuff from last time and update last times test record sheet.

If you have them pre numbered, then EVERYTHING has to get a new number and you have to start your test record sheet from scratch.

You have lost me on that, A schedule  listing the appliances and the numbers is the important item, not the stickers. As long as it is correctly recorded so what if the items are not consecutively numbered.

b) Because you are a gullible half brain idiot who had no idea there was an easier way..

c) Because you were not on the forum long long ago and had no idea who Megger Mark was..

d) Because you couldn't get authorisation from the boss to spend the money when you still had outstanding home decorating to do..
