Pfc 10K :( ?

Im just curious to know what would happen under fault conditions to a MCB 6KA if the when the PFC is 10ka ?

Search the books & forums but to no availe

It may blow it and will need to be replaced

sod all would happen, the MCB will never see 10kA - there was a very long discussion on this issue previously if anyone good at searching posts could dig it out.

Yes it was a question. I think the question was

"What would happen if the breaking capacity of a protective device were lower then the PFSC" ???????

I didnt know the answer think i put " the device would not operate and possible be damaged "
